Hi, nice to meet you!

I am a passionate designer with over 6 years of experience specialising in branding and graphic design. My journey in the creative industry has taken me from busy agency environments, where I worked with global brands like Amazon, Aldi, Asda, Morrisons, and Walmart, to freelancing for indie creative businesses. My work has included everything from executing retail marketing campaigns to designing websites and packaging, each project teaching me the importance of crafting designs that truly resonate with users.

Why UX?

While I’ve enjoyed a successful career in branding and graphic design, I’ve always been deeply fascinated by psychology and understanding human behaviour. This curiosity led me to explore the world of UX design, where I found the perfect blend of my creative skills and my passion for understanding users. I am committed to creating intuitive, meaningful digital experiences that are grounded in empathy and user-centred design principles.

Learning is the key my design approach.

I believe that great design starts with a deep understanding of people—their needs, motivations, and behaviors. My approach involves diving into user research, developing personas, creating wireframes, and prototyping, all while continuously testing and iterating.

I’m obsessed with learning as much as possible from every experience, whether it’s analyzing user feedback or staying up-to-date with the latest UX trends and psychological theories. This mindset helps me craft solutions that are not only functional but also deeply resonate with users.

My skills / Capabilities

I’m proficient in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and the majority of Creative Cloud, and I’m always eager to learn more. To formalise my knowledge in UX, I am currently working to completing the Google UX Design Professional Certificate, where I honing my skills in user research, wire framing, prototyping, and usability testing. You can see my certificates here.

I have a strong foundation in UX methodologies and user research techniques, and I’m continually expanding my knowledge through courses, workshops, and self-directed studies. I believe that every project offers a unique opportunity to learn something new and grow as a designer.

When I am not designing?

You’ll likely find me diving into a book about cognitive psychology, gliding around on my roller skates, exploring new video games, or spending quality time with my British Shorthair, Phoebe. I love bringing a sense of curiosity and a desire for learning into every aspect of my life, whether I’m working on a new project or finding new ways to connect with the world around me.
